Most of my friends, like me, are from very conservative Christian backgrounds, so even though I don’t think any of them have anything against alcohol, some of them don’t drink and certain of our family members would be quite offended if alcohol were served.

Which is a shame, because I consider alcohol to be one of many good things God gave us to enjoy.

I have side projects or do jobs for money (tune ups, oil changes) to not be broke. I also play saxophone in my free time since engineering is annoying and life consuming. If I wasn’t in band I would have lost it a long time ago.

I injured my toe. Not broken, just bruised. I still went out for a bit of a drive, ran some errands, got some gas before the prices go up (I may or may not be in the area affected by the pipeline leak), then came home and ran the dishwasher.

Watching college football and editing today’s C&C pics. It’s pretty exciting. Lady SonicGabe fell asleep a while back. I ate some peanut butter cream cookies. I’m currently waiting on photoshop to stitch four pics together as a panorama. For the second time. It’s taking a long time. It’s pretty exciting.

My day was dominated by moving a lot of crap. I hate moving. So this evening has been sort of trying to recuperate after all that. We went to bed early because we are old (even though neither of us are actually old).

I guess this is sort of “moving in” with my fiancé. We get married in two weeks.
